Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss were among the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. She was born on July 23, 1971. She started working in the world of music at a very young age. at the age of 10, she won local contests and recorded her debut album. In 1985, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 released her debut solo album. In addition, she was invited to the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. In 1989, she released her first solo album, her first solo album debuted together with them.
