Angela Sun is a journalist film maker, documentary journalist and TV host. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She graduated from University of California with a diploma in communications and sociology. Sun's surfing abilities were exceptional and she was a part of a number of pro-am events. She was sponsored by major brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Recognition she gained through this was a slingshot that launched her into the world of entertainment. She later worked as an actress, sportscaster, investigative reporter, as well as film director. Sun worked as anchor of news for various channels. She was a reporter in 2003 as reporter on Fox Sports Net. In 2012, she was host of American Ninja Warrior with Matt Iseman & Jonny Moseley. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute during the year 2014. Sun was the first Asian American to have her name featured on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has appeared in a variety of movies, and her skills as an actress are lauded and acknowledged. She's appeared in numerous films including Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). Sun has produced and directed Platic Paradise, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 2014.
