Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Most famously, she is known for her role as Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and she has also produced and appeared in her own film Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was a part of the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the daughter, born on January 8, 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson, her artistic younger sister. Benson, whose father is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson has appeared in numerous movies and TV series in the years since Buffy finished up, including The Killing Jar. Additionally, she worked as a scriptwriter on The Ghosts of Albion Series and produced Drones in 2010. Buffy states that she's discovered and counted over 1800 Slayers, 500 of whom are part of the Scooby Gang. Slayer possibilities are being awakened when they have reached the proper age.
